Relax & Chill Yoga
This class is exactly what it sounds like. A time for you to just relax and chill out. Most of class is done lying down or seated, possible a little kneeling but nothing strenuous. Gentle stretching and range of motion movements make this class ideal for the beginner, anyone recovering from an injury, as well as anyone who is just looking to chill out after a long Monday.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa means "Flow" in Sanskrit. This style of yoga flows from one pose to the next with the breath. For instance, on an inhale you reach your hands overhead, on an exhale you bend and touch your toes. This class is meant for anyone that wants to move, feel like you stretched some and feel like your muscles did a little work. This is an Open level class, all are welcome.
Slow Flow Yoga
This class is also Vinyasa style yoga where we flow with the breath from one pose to the next. We flow a little slower in this class and it is a little less upper body. So if you have tried a Vinyasa class and the chutturungas are not for you, and the stepping forward between your hands from down dog is really hard this class is perfect for YOU! All levels welcome!
Pilates Mat
This class is based on the work of Joseph Pilates. It is core strengthening at its best. By CORE I mean the center of your body abs, back, hips, thighs and butt! Exercises are done with specific intention on a movement so only a few reps of each are done. This class will help you feel stronger from the inside out.
Yogalates
Yogalates blends Yoga with Pilates so you will get the best of both worlds. Some strengthening and some stretching. Imagine down dog leg lifts and happy baby crunches. Class is fun and creative with exercises that are specifically targeted so not too many reps. You will finish class feeling both long and strong!
Chair Yoga
Move, stretch find your strength all around a chair. Great for anyone who may have trouble getting up and down off the floor easily, or have problems with holding their weight on their arms. Wonderful way to learn some stretches and poses to do at your workstation.
